OBJECTIVES

1. To develop educational content for the learning environment on economic and societal impacts of local weather, air quality and climate

2. To develop hardware and software components of the learning environment and integrate them with educational content

3. To test the integrated learning environment in a university, professional update, and sectoral settings

4. To design a commercialisation strategy for the adaptive integrated learning environment system

Target group - university students, hydrometeorology professionals, and managers at weather-sensitive enterprises and public bodies.

Final meeting & Steering Group Meeting 8 of the ECOIMPACT project

On 5-6 September 2019 at University of Helsinki there was held a Final meeting & Steering Group Meeting 8 of the ECOIMPACT Project («Adaptive learning environment for competence development impact on the local weather, air quality and climate on the economy and social life"), funded by European Commission for Erasmus +. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE "INTERNET OF THINGS" TECHNOLOGY IN METEOROLOGICAL RESEARCH

Training on the Enviro-HIRLAM model at the University of Helsinki

During 18 February – 4 March 2018 Dr. Olga Shevchenko and MSc student Mariia Matviienko (representatives of Meteorology and Climatology department, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) visited the University of Helsinki (UHEL), Institute for the Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR), and Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI, Helsinki, Finland). O. Shevchenko and M. Matviienko participated in the Enviro-HIRLAM research and education training. ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION WEEK

On 6-10 November 2017, the EU Erasmus+ Program International Information Week representatives of higher education institutions from different regions of Ukraine was held in Kyiv.
