IMPLEMENTATION OF THE "INTERNET OF THINGS" TECHNOLOGY IN METEOROLOGICAL RESEARCH
Department of Meteorology and Climatology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv during the meteorological training for students of the Geography Faculty uses an automatic meteorological station developed by the forces of the university team of European project "ECOIMPACT" of the Erasmus + program.
The station is based on Internet technology using standard temperature sensors, pressure, humidity, etc. (BMP280, Si7021, BH1750, DS18B20) and the OrangePi Lite data processing unit. For data processing is developed own software (SensorsPy) and use standard data storage (InfluxDB), data mapping (Grafana). The standard program "Сreate_ap" was used to create an WiFi access point in the field for group of students, who can connect to the meteorological station through smartphones, store information in tabular or graphical form and analyze it. The station receives power from portable electric battery Power Bank.
